Translation: “Drunken cheese from the Vajont region”

Description: Hard cow’s milk cheese. Ubriaco is a traditional, Italian cheese made in northern Italy’s Veneto region.

Affectionately called "drunken cheese", it is bathed in gallons of dry and sparkling Prosecco wine along with skins, seeds, and leftovers from the wine making process to extract the unique sweet, delicate aroma of the wine and complex flavours.

Aged: minimum 2 months

Aroma: Floral, boozy (like a wine-soaked cork)

Flavour:  Savoury with a distinct flavour of wine.

This is a cheese for wine lovers! Serve with your favourite cheese garnishes. Pairs particularly well with Speducci Fig Mostarda and Quince Paste.
