Made only from slow-cooked grape must of Lambrusco and Trebbiano grapes, Saba is made using the same method used for producing balsamic vinegar, only the process stops once the must is reduced by 1/3. This caramelized the sugars and concentrates the flavours
A luxurious syrup, Saba has a wonderful raisiny, caramel flavor. It's slight sweetness makes it the perfect thing to drizzle on ice cream or soft cheeses.
